AllCal 2010 Caravan - LEAVING FRIDAY

If anyone is interested in caravaning to the All Cal

I'm going to leave Friday with a flexible time anytime between 10am and 4pm

I'll leave the 5 or 101 option up-in-the-air untill there is a consensus if anyone wants to caravan

Can take 1o1 or 5 all the way up then cut back to hollister svra
or cut in to the 25 from either coalinga off the 5 or king city off the 101

The 25 is a scenic rolling hills countryside drive and saves about 20 miles.

i might be in on this, as well as setting up an oc -> santa clarita meet. i think santa clarita is 1.5-2hrs away. hmmmmm

FJ Essence and I are Leaving Friday around 1pm and taking the scenic 101 North up to Hollister. It is only a 30 min Difference between taking the 101 North and the 5 North.

cool...glad you guys are organizing this.

just as an FYI, if anyone is planning a caravan for a Thursday arrival, i'll have camping information posted to the OP soon. we will not be in the group camp area on Thursday night...we will be in the park itself. more details forthcoming.

but I want to save my xtra vacation days for the high sierra run in sept

If nothing comes up and I can go, I would be up for setting a meet place in SB 5:30-6ish. But I won't know my all-cal fate until the week before

Safety in numbers... You never know if there will be H2's or huge 250's waiting to jump a lone FJ. They are the piranha of northern California.
