the problem with OMEs on the 5100s is that they are very stiff springs and must remain in the lowest clip position on the 5100. this may or may not make your FJ level. so its a good setup if it matches your front end weight but your 5100s will no longer be adjustable. I say they are no longer adjustable because bilstein says not to adjust the clip position on the 5100 unless youre using OEM springs. you know what a piston ring looks like on a piston? well thats all the 5100s use to adjust ride height. the clip is moved up or down on the shock body.

ive been riding with it on the lowest notch with the OME springs and its been great.
much better than stock...none of that bobbing after a dip etc. it did lift the front end and i am a hair of an inch away from being level with rigs that are rocking toytec adjustable coilovers and whatnot....then again im running stock size tires while everyone else in the world runs anything but haha. all in all my experience with it has been great and an improvement from stock.

Thanks for the help guys... I think for the time being I'll stick to swapping into the 4x4....will I need to get the car aligned after this? In the not so near future if I go w front and rear bilstien 5100 will that do the job? Or will I need to add rear spacers? Again thanks

Joey, sorry for being late on this. My rig is all ICON and yes it does even out the ride. You can actually adjust the front coil overs to either level the 4x2 or have it sit lower/higher in the front. Mine is level. Love the 4WD suspension that ICON provides. I think Kings and ICON are the best out there for sure. I went from 2.5 spacers on the front which leveled it out perfectly to the ICON Stage 2 set up with front UCA'a, Coil Overs and rear springs and shocks.

Call me if you want to discuss.
