Default Cleveland National Forest Road Closures/Openings Info

Just wanted to let you guys know that on my last CNF volunteer meeting I found out about a twitter site where the status of the roads in the Cleveland National Forest are updated regularly. Apparently the reason the national forest website is often wrong with the reality is because they have to report it to the nation forest website organization and have to go through some beurocracy to change the status of roads on that website. This twitter website will let you know quickly if the roads are open/closed.

And when they say TRD on the site it stands for Trabuco Ranger District

I dont think they open up maple springs until like at-least 2 weeks from rain. They are really anal about that. Their priority is to keep the roads in groomed condition for the radio tower maintenance.
